Missiles hit critical facilities in Lviv region

Lviv region has come under an air attack from Russia. At night, on January 15, an enemy drone flew into the territory, and in the morning Lviv region came under a missile attack. It became known that enemy air targets were hit.

This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky.

Drone and missile attack in Lviv region on January 15

Lviv region experienced two air alerts at night, during which the enemy attacked with a drone and cruise missiles. The first alert lasted from 01:35 to 02:48, during which our air defense forces destroyed an enemy attack drone. As a result, we managed to avoid casualties, injuries and destruction.

During the second alert from 06:12 to 08:12, the enemy attacked Lviv region with cruise missiles. Two critical infrastructure facilities were hit in Drohobych and Stryi districts. Although there were no casualties, the facilities were damaged.

A residential building and an outbuilding were also damaged in the village of Sknyliv, Zolochiv district, as a result of a rocket fall. There were no casualties. A large crater measuring 6 by 5 meters and 2.5 meters deep was formed near the house. Specialized services are working at the scene.

As a reminder, explosions were heard in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions as a result of a Russian missile attack.
