In Lviv, an entrepreneur together with accomplices organized a scheme for illegal departure of men abroad. At least four conscripts left Ukraine with their help.

This is stated in the court verdict published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

Case details

The entrepreneur entered into a conspiracy with other persons and organized a scheme for illegal border crossing for men of conscription age. To do this, they purchased a Volkswagen LT 35 bus, found a person for whom they opened an IE for international transportation, and obtained the appropriate permits.

With their "help", at least one conscript successfully went abroad as a driver working for this company. He was put into the "Path" system.

Later, the organizers found one more person, for whom another IE was opened and a Citroën Jumper minibus was registered. Three more people went abroad as drivers of this company, and the fourth man received all the necessary documents for departure.

He paid $5,000 for the services — the businessman was detained. A criminal case was opened against him for illegal transportation of people abroad.

Court decision

During the trial, the man admitted his guilt and explained his actions with difficult family circumstances — the need for money for the treatment of the child. He asked to transfer the deposit paid in his favor in the amount of 214 thousand hryvnias to the needs of the Armed Forces.

The judge found the organizer of the scheme guilty and fined him 340,000 hryvnias.

Earlier in Odesa, a man who wanted to serve but lost his passport was prosecuted. He printed the document on a printer and went with it to the Territorial Recruitment Center.

We also wrote that a man was prosecuted in Lviv region who did not appear at the TRC because he "couldn't get there".
