Sadovyi presented gratitude to military doctors from the US
Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi met with American doctors John Bradley Holcomb and Rom Anthony Stevens. They have been helping Ukrainian doctors since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.
Sadovyi's meeting with American doctors
Sadovyi presented the doctors with letters of gratitude from the Lviv community.
"Your visit, your support and, most importantly, our cooperation with you is an important step for the development of our UNBROKEN Center, our doctors and Lviv in general. Such friendship gives us strength, so we thank you for supporting our medicine and Ukraine in these difficult times," he emphasized.
Hnat Herych, head of Surgical Department No. 1 of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv, said that they were the first American doctors to arrive in Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion. Initially, their assistance consisted of supporting Ukrainian doctors during surgeries, and later the cooperation moved to a more systematic level, including counseling.
For example, Rom Anthony Stevens conducts trainings for anesthesiologists throughout Ukraine, and Professor John Bradley Holcomb promotes scientific research through his collaboration with UNBROKEN University.
As a reminder, Sadovyi said that Ukraine's territorial communities should establish partnerships and conclude agreements that will provide financial support.
Sadovyi also announced the "Give a Postcard to Lviv" campaign. Artists, designers, and photographers are invited to join the campaign.
