On Sunday, December 15, Ukrainian scouts brought the Peace Light of Bethlehem to Lviv and the families of the fallen soldiers were the first to receive it. It will also be passed on to the defenders on the front line.

Military man Oleksiy Holyk mentioned this in a comment to Novyny.LIVE.

"First of all, I was pleased, and I was amazed that I was the one who had such an honor to receive it and pass this flame on," he said.

The military man noted that he would pass the flame on to his brothers and sisters in his units and those where he has acquaintances.

"This is a certain unity with home through traditions, through those people who are close to me, it is always pleasant," the soldier added.

Let us remind you that the Bethlehem light was first handed over to the relatives of the fallen Ukrainian defenders in Lviv.

Later, the mayor of the city, Andriy Sadovyi, together with the people, lit it up at the Field of Honorary Burials.

In addition, the little scouts told about their impressions during the transfer of the Bethlehem light to Kyiv in the comments to Novyny.LIVE.
